Inconclusive Election in Bauchi – INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the governorship election in Bauchi State inconclusive.
After the announcement of results, PDP polled 469,512 votes to remain in a narrow lead over APC who polled 465,456 votes. Howev,er the margin of lead between PDP and APC is 4059 while the total number of canceled Votes is 45,312.
As a result of canceled votes surpassing the margin between the two leading candidates, the electoral commission declared the election inconclusive. INEC fixed the supplementary election for 21 days from now.
