A 12-year-old football fan was killed by members of al-Shabaab terror group in Somali after he was spotted celebrating Arsenal win over Manchester United on Sunday, March 10.
According to anti-terrorism agency Epuka Ugaidi, the little boy identified as Abdi was allegedly arrested before being stoned to death for causing disturbance in Qoryoley, Somali while donning Arsenal jersey.
Watching football matches and western movies are some of the prohibited and punishable acts in al-Shabaab controlled areas and anyone who wants to enjoy such activities must pay some small fee.
It is reported the boy's family could not raise the required amount in time to escape the painful execution.
The group recently sprayed bullets on Somalia's deputy attorney general Mohamad Mursal killing him on the spot in the capital city Mogadishu.
The attackers who were armed with pistols ambushed Mohamed Mursal as he drove back home on the evening of Wednesday, February 20.
