Bears Reportedly Signing Former Patriots WR Cordarrelle Patterson

Get ready, NFC North defenses. The creative Matt Nagy just got another shiny new toy to work with.
Former Patriots receiver, running back, and kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson has agreed to a two-year deal with Nagy and the Chicago Bears.
Expect about 50 jet sweeps per game with his speed in the offense.
A former first-round pick out of Tennessee, Patterson struggled with consistency as a receiver in Minnesota and Oakland. Under Belichick in New England, he evolved into a hybrid running back/receiver that ran for 228 yards and added 247 yards receiving.
Patterson has been a two time All-Pro performer as a kick returner, which I'm sure the Bears are well aware of.
Don't expect Patterson to come in and be a No. 1 receiver or to change the dynamic of the offense, but expect him to get involved in the Chicago offense in a multitude of ways while continuing to star on special teams.
