- Judy Mbuya has been accused of a number of misgivings during her time in office
- One of the most outrageous accusations involved the Chief Whip allegedly referring to her male counterparts as uncircumcised
- A letter has already been tabled to the Speaker on the same
Embu County Assembly Majority Chief Whip Judy Mbuya’s job is on the line after she sensationally suggested her male colleagues were uncircumcised.
The nominated MCA has already been stripped off her seat by the Chairperson of the Welfare Committee for what they termed as the use of abusive language towards her male counterparts.
A letter to Speaker Josiah Thiriku dated March 8 further accused Mbuya of improper conduct by clobbering one of her colleagues.
The letter was signed by five members of the Welfare committee.
Mbuya’s woes did not end there as colleagues further accused her of incompetenc, particularly when handling MCA welfare concerns.
Her ability to pay attention during the drafting of a supplementary budget during a two-week-long meeting was also questioned.
“When liaison committee was meeting at Roasters Hotel, you only appeared technically and showed less interest with the business that was going on there,” the letter said.
Among the committee members who signed the letter to facilitate the process of her ousting included MCAs Robert Ireri (Kagaari South), Murithi Kiura (Mbeti South), Duncan Mbui (Evurore), John Gichovi (Nginda) and Rose Ruguru , a nominated MCA.
