Nakuru-based gospel musician Vivah Musiq among those who perished in Kikopey accident

The gospel music fraternity is in mourning following the sudden demise of one of their own.
The young musician famed for massive hits such as Jipe Moyo died on Friday, March 22, morning after she was involved in a grisly road accident at Kikopey.
Following Vivah's death, countless people including fellow musicians and fans thronged social media to condole with her family.
As reported earlier, 11 people who were aboard a 2NK shuttle matatu in which the musician was using died on the spot and police reports confirmed they were seven women and five men.
One person is said to have died while on the way to Gilgil Sub-county hospital.
Others who were in several vehicles which were hit by the same truck also died.
The gory accident was confirmed by area police boss Emmanuel Opuru who said the driver of the killer truck escaped leaving behind a colleague who suffered serious injuries.
