The federal government Monday, March 25, promised it will do its utmost to ensure that there is drinkable water for all Nigerians.
Speaking in Abuja, Suleiman H. Adamu, the minister of water resources said that President Muhammadu Buhari in November 2018 declared a state of emergency in the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) sector, Daily Trust reports.
Adamu said that this was because of the low access levels of water, sanitation and hygiene services and the attendant water-borne diseases in several parts of Nigeria.
