BIG VIC 'Better than Messi' - Spurs fans delighted as ace scores against Huddersfield
Jp|April. 13, 2019
Tottenham Hotspur needed something special against Huddersfield Town having made seven changes to the team which beat Manchester City in the Champions League.
It came in the most unexpected form, though, as Victor Wanyama shimmied his way around Ben Hamer before rolling the ball into the back of the net for the opening goal of the game.
The Kenyan has had a tough season due to injuries, which have left him on the sideline for the majority of the campaign.
But in an injury crisis, with Harry Kane , Harry Winks and Dele Alli out, manager Mauricio Pochettino called upon him and was rewarded.
Ben Davies pass, which Fernando Llorente failed to control, fell perfectly into his path and Wanyama’s ‘twinkletoes’ did the rest.
