New Mavins and Jonzing World artist Rema has been making waves ever since he released his debut EP also called Rema.
Don Jazzy was recently a guest on the Loose Talk Podcast and he talked about how Rema got signed to Mavins.
According to him, it started when Rema did a cover of D'Prince "Gucci Gang" song and put it on Instagram. D'Prince liked it, reached out to him and traveled to Benin to meet with him.
After meeting with him in Benin, he brought him back to Lagos and when Don Jazzy listened to his songs, they were all in agreement that he should be signed.
Rema is signed to Jonzing World, an imprint label of Mavins Records.
He has 2 hit songs at the moment "Iron Man" and "Dumebi".
He was recently featured on D'Prince's new EP called "Lavida"
