The Minister for Railways Development, Hon. Joe Ghartey, has said former president Mahama’s desire to be president of Ghana again would not materialize.
Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, he explained that he was working seriously for President Akufo-Addo to retain power in 2020.
He added that his ministry is working hard to improve the railway sector and that the president has given them 200 million dollars to purchase ultra modern coaches for the railways.
A section of social media users have reacted differently to the comments by the railway minister, with a lot of people saying it wasn't in his place to make such comments.
Sulley thinks the same thing was told to Akufo-Addo in his quest to become president.
Nafty simply said he should stop making noise because he was not God.
Ato believed Mahama is by far a better president than Akufo-Addo.
Seidu simply said Joe Ghartey was not God.
Komla sarcastically said Mahama is the air the NPP breathes
Beatrice said he should let God decide
