BREAKING: Gunmen Kill 17 Soldiers In Ambush, 11 Missing

Unidentified gunmen have massacred 17 Niger soldiers in an ambush near the border with Mali, AFP reported a security source as saying on Wednesday, adding 11 are still missing.
It was gathered that the ambush took place on Tuesday near the village of Tongo Tongo in the western Tillaberi region.
Recall that four US soldiers and five Niger soldiers were killed in an ambush in that same location in 2017.
“The provisional toll is 17 dead and 11 missing” in what the source described as a “terrorist attack”.
