What Ole Gunnar Told Manchester United Players After Cardiff Defeat
May. 15, 2019
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was furious with his players after their disappointing 2-0 home defeat to relegated Cardiff City on the last day of the season.
The result meant United finished the season a whopping 32 points behind city rivals and eventual champions Manchester City. And according to The Sun, Solskjaer did not mince his words after the game, reportedly telling the players that they had embarrassed him, the club and the supporters before telling some of them that they have played their final game for the club ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils finished the season in sixth place with 66 points after winning just two of their final 12 games.
