Sept. 11, 2019
Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo became the first European player to score 90 international goals after scoring four goals against Lithuania.
The 34-year-old netted four times in Portugal's European Championship qualifier against Lithuania on Tuesday night, which means it has taken him a total of 160 games to claim the record.
In fact, Ronaldo's brace in the Group B tie means that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has scored against 40 different nations.
He is the only person to achieve such a remarkable feat.
