Buffalo Bills still ‘gathering information’ on Devin Singletary’s hamstring injury
Sept. 16, 2019
Orchard Park, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott provided an injury update on running back Devin Singletary on Monday after the team’s 28-14 victory over the New York Giants on Sunday in New Jersey.
Singletary came up limping after a cut on a run to the left late in the game and McDermott said a day after the injury that the team is still “gathering information” about the severity of the injury. He said that there are some “question marks in terms of the evaluation” of the injury.
Singletary has produced significant numbers on limited touches in his first two NFL games. He’s averaging 13.7 yards per rush on nine carries and scored his first touchdown on Sunday against the Giants to put the Bills up 14-7 in the second quarter.
