JAMES MADDISON sent Manchester United fans crazy with his latest Instagram post.
The Leicester midfielder, 22, put up a photo of him striking the ball during Saturday's clash, tagging his location at Old Trafford.
Maddison appears to be in Germany with Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak at a Puma event but did not enjoy his most influential game at the Theatre of Dreams as Marcus Rashford's early penalty proved the difference.
But Manchester United fans are nonetheless desperate to see the England Under-21 international on a regular basis at Old Trafford next season after being linked with a move alongside Jadon Sancho .
Commenting on the photo - which bears a strong resemblance to United legend David Beckham - plenty were getting very excited.
One Manchester United supporters' account said: "Hope you can play more at Old Trafford next season."
Another wrote: "Pack your bags mate. You’re welcome to play here all year!"
A third added: "COME TO UNITED PLEASEEEEEEEEEE we need you badly."
Meanwhile, one user said: "No comment mate? Must want to be a United player next season."
One Leicester fan, though, could not resist a cheeky dig at the desperate Red Devils supporters.
She wrote: "The comments on here - how jealous of our club must you be to want to steal our players. Deluded the lot of you."
And even Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain chipped in with his own comment.
The Liverpool midfielder quipped: "Tekky wid it."
Over on Twitter, meanwhile, one user managed to brilliantly edit Maddison's unveiling photo at Leicester to change the Foxes shirts to United ones.
Maddison is under contract at the King Power until 2023 after signing a five-year contract when he completed his move from Norwich.
