Sprint Legend Usain Bolt Explains Who He Would Pick Between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo

Sept. 21, 2019

The fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt, has opened up about the debate on who is the best between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
When asked who he would choose, he stated that he would prefer both since they are both geniuses but revealed special admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo as he has succeeded in three different leagues.
He also added that Virgil van Dijk is an excellent player as the Dutchman is also being touted to win the Ballon d’Or.
While the Portuguese and the Argentine have won the accolade five times, Bolt thinks that now is the right time for Van Dijk to win the award due to the fact that he won the Champions League with Liverpool last season and was one of their best players.
However, he also admitted he would want to see Cristiano Ronaldo win the award.
“Both! Many people are asking this question, but they are two geniuses of football. I have always been a big fan of Ronaldo. I admire his ability to succeed in different championships: England, Spain and now Italy,” he was quoted saying by HT .
“These are three wonderful players. Ronaldo and Messi won the prize five times each. For his part, Van Dijk has just won the UEFA prize and in view of his performances in Liverpool last season, his time may have come. But as a supporter of Manchester United , I would surely vote for Ronaldo!”
When asked about who he wants to race in a 100m sprint, he concluded by saying, “Ronaldo, Mbappé and Gareth Bale!”
What a race that would be to witness!
