Cash and jewellery stolen while homeowners were away

Access was gained via a door at the back of the home
Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Newquay .
The incident happened over the course of the weekend of 28 and 29 September 2019, at a home on Arundel Way in Porth.
The premises was unoccupied at the time of the break in, as the residents were away for the weekend.
Access was gained via a door to the rear of the property with minimal force.
A full search of the premises was conducted and cash (Euros) and jewellery were stolen.
If anyone has any information in relation to this incident or saw anything suspicious in the area, contact the police on 101 and quote the log number 491 of 30/09/2019.
Meanwhile, officers are also appealing for information after a white Carrera fury mountain bike was stolen from the rear of a property in the access lane on South Quay Hill, Newquay.
The incident happened between 11.30am and 6pm on Thursday, October 3.
