Neymar limped off after 12 minutes as Brazil failed to beat African opposition for a second straight game after a 1-1 draw with Nigeria on Sunday.
Selecao were pushing a return to winning ways after playing to a 1-1 draw with Senegal during the week, which also resulted Tite fielding Neymar, Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino.
Nigeria, meanwhile, went for a youthful attack which include Ligue 1 top scorer Victor Osimhen, Nantes' Moses Simon and Villarreal forward Samuel Chukwueze.
However, the South American champions were dealt a blow 12 minutes into the encounter as Neymar was forced off through injury with a hamstring injury. He was replaced by Philippe Coutinho.
After Brazil missed couple good chances through Coutinho and Firmino, the Super Eagles broke the deadlock in the 35th minute through Aribo with a poked finish into the bottom corner after some good work by Simon and Osimhen in the build-up.
Selecao took a while to recover, but eventually restored parity shortly after the halftime break through Casemiro's close-range finish after Marquinhos' header hit the crossbar.
Casemiro went close to grabbing a second for himself and Selecao on the hour mark, but his powerful strike from the edge of the box crashed against the woodwork.
The Brazilians continued to threaten as Gabriel Barbosa, who replaced Firmino, got on the end of Richarlison's cross but could only glance his header inches wide of the upright.
Brazil pushed for a winner in the latter stages, but the Super Eagles remained resolute as the encounter ended all square.
