Tokyo: At least 11 people have been killed in Japan as a result of powerful Typhoon Hagibis that roared across the country bringing unprecedented rains, officials said on Sunday.
Some died in landslides and others were swept away by floodwater in their cars as rivers broke their banks after torrential rain.
