Church Bus Nabbed Transporting Bhang In Taita Taveta
Oct. 16, 2019
You must have read and heard about cases that left you really shocked before, and if you thought that you had seen and heard it all, think again!
Reports have it that a driver and his assistant are among three people from Taita Taveta who have been arrested for transporting bhang using a church bus.
Police in Taita Taveta say the three are in police custody having been found with 230 rolls of bhang.
The bus belongs to PEFA church and was headed to Homa Bay County from Kilifi. Voi OCPD Bernastein Shali confirmed the incident saying the three will be taken to court on Wednesday.
Normally, we all know that one of the main function of the church is to serve the community.
Serving and generally the whole idea of "servant-leadership" should come from all the leaders and staff of the church, and in this case, the driver and his assistant got it all wrong.
They could have chosen to do their businesses using other forms, but it really is so sad that of all ways that they could have moved, they settled on that.
This definitely calls upon each one of us, that in our little capacities, we should always strive to lead by example, be the servant leaders we want to see, and day by day, we will be a step closer towards fixing our nation and the entire world.
