Bulk ground beef recalled
Oct. 21, 2019
Pride of Florida bulk ground beef is being recalled due to possible E. coli contamination.
Nearly 65,000 pounds of the ground beef was sold under several different brands including Circle A and Clark's. They are all bulk packages primarily sold to restaurants in 12 to 60 pound cases.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
The USDA's food safety and inspection service is concerned some product may be frozen and in commercial distributor's freezers.
Distributors should throw away or return the product to the place of origin.
