Juventus Reportedly Offer Personal Terms to Manchester United Target Erling Braut Haaland
Dec. 10, 2019
Juventus have reportedly become the first club to offer RB Salzburg hero Erling Braut Haaland their personal terms since the Norwegian's release clause has been revealed.
The Italian champions are one of a plethora of clubs, including Catalan giants FC Barcelona and Manchester United , trying to sign the 19-year-old, who is reported to be valued at £80m. However, a recent revelation could see him leave Salzburg for much less.
Reports have surfaced that claim Haaland has a release clause of just €20m (£17m) and it can be triggered in the upcoming January transfer window, as reported by Corriere dello Sport .
The Serie A champions are reported to have offered Haaland as much as €3m (£2.5m) per season plus bonuses.
From Juventus' perspective, signing Haaland makes perfect sense since Maurizio Sarri is never going to let Mario Mandzukic play another way for the Old Lady.
Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are the two known clubs who have shown interest in the player up till now.
Haaland has been in incredible form this season as he has scored 28 goals in just 21 competitive games, including eight in five Champions League games.
The Norwegian striker could actually dump Liverpool out of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night as RB Salzburg host Jurgen Klopp's reigning European champions in a crucial Group E match.
