A man has been arrested after a massive fire broke out at the historic Jackson Brewery building in Over-the-Rhine in December.
The Cincinnati Fire Department said Andre J. Dargahi was arrested Friday in connection with the fire that happened Dec. 15 at a vacant warehouse.
The two-alarm fire started around 4:15 a.m. on Mohawk Street at a warehouse that used to be home to Jackson Brewery.
Fire officials said crews arrived to find smoke and heavy flames coming from the roof of the warehouse.
Fire officials said the roof eventually collapsed and parts of the building deteriorated and began to fail.
More than 60 firefighters helped keep the fire in what was once a bustling brewery from spreading to nearby buildings and apartments.
