Temporary Ways To Color Your Hair Using Kitchen Remedies

Whenever you need to change your look for a short while, you may opt for temporary colouring using items that are readily available in your kitchen. This type of colouring is designed to give your hair a new look for a day or two.
The idea of using instant coffee to impart a dark brown shade to mousy hair begain in salons. All that is needed is a few sachets of a popular brand of coffee, mixed with lemon and hot water into a thick paste. It is then applied to clean hair and left to dry before rinsing it off with cold water.
Food colour rinse
This is a well-known method that has been used for years to give hair a new tint. Any colour may be used to create a unique look. Blue, green, brown, maroon, red, and orange are the main shades that can change ordinary hair to give it a dash of colour.
What you need:
1 small tub of food colour powder
1/2 cup of warm water
Mix this to a paste and then apply to clean hair. Allow it to dry before rinsing. Do not use shampoo to wash it off.
Lemon hair lighting
Lemon contains acid which can lighten hair slightly. Rinse your hair with lemon juice and sit in the sun for a couple of hours. Do not rinse it off with water until the next day.
