Supporting your football team is like a marriage in the eyes of many fans.
You love them unconditionally through the good and bad times and divorce should only be considered as a last resort.
However, one Manchester United ‘fan’ called talkSPORT to declare he’s ready to cut all ties he has to the club following their 2-0 defeat at Liverpool on Sunday.
Goals from Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah saw the Reds claim the win which sees their Premier League title bid get stronger than it already was.
As for Man United, they missed a chance to reduce the gap on fourth-placed Chelsea, who also lost at the weekend.
But Joe, the man who claims to be a Red Devils fan has had enough with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co. and revealed he’s willing to give up his season ticket he has at Old Trafford.
However, what shocked Final Word presenters Danny Kelly and Simon Jordan the most was Joe claiming he would then go on the waiting list to become a season ticket holder at Man United’s old enemies, Liverpool.

Joe said: “I’m giving up my Man United season ticket. I can’t stand it it any more. I can’t stand it.
“Solskjaer is a fraud. He doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing.
“I’m considering going on the waiting list at Anfield –”
At this point, Danny interjected: “No! You can’t do that, you’re not a real football supporter. That can’t be right.”
Joe responded by insisting he didn’t care about how it looked before offering a big and slightly bizarre compliment about Liverpool defender Van Dijk.
He added: “I don’t even care about that any more.
“The thing is we don’t have a player who’s even half as handsome as Van Dijk. Van Dijk is a brilliant player –”
Danny promptly cut Joe off clearly unconvinced he was a genuine Man United supporter in the first place.
