President Lungu Threatens To Fire Those Frustrating The Government
Jan. 21, 2020
The President of Zambia, Edgar Lungu issued a stern warning to Zambians, especially those frustrating the efforts of the government. According to the President, he’s ready to fire them.
“Tell people what we’re doing. Go to radio stations and tell them what we’re doing. I will not reshuffle you; I will just fire or retire you. This is the last time I will warn those appointed to serve with me. Whether you’re working with me as President of PF, or as President of the government of the Republic of Zambia, I am the same Edgar Lungu. I believe in what I say; you are out.”
He went on to appeal to those working with him in the political party to inform the public of what they’re doing as a government and as a political party.
