REDWOOD CITY — A person died Tuesday in a solo crash after their white Dodge pick-up truck veered off Highway 280, crashed into trees and burst into flames.
The California Highway Patrol said they could not readily identify the badly burned body of the driver, who was traveling southbound on Highway 280 near the Trousdale Drive off-ramp at about 1:50 p.m.
The slow-lane on Highway 280 is currently closed as well as the Hillcrest Boulevard on-ramp.
