ERIK-GONE: Tottenham Midfielder Christian Eriksen Set For Inter Milan Medical
Jan. 24, 2020
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen is on the brink of leaving the club after lengthy negotiations concluded on Thursday.
The deal was finally concluded for a deal worth 18-million Euros plus bonuses and this leaves the Danish midfielder is free to travel and conclude the deal to join Antonio Conte's team.
Eriksen's deal with Spurs was due to expire in the summer so that left him free to negotiate personal terms with Inter. A deal was struck where he will receive 8-million Euros a year in a contract running until 2024.
Despite the huge risk of losing the highly-coveted midfielder for free in the summer, Spurs refused to back down from their 20-million Euro valuation of him and eventually, they landed at a figure which satisfied both parties.
Inter Milan aim to complete the deal for Eriksen and have him in the stands for the weekend game against Cagliari.
