Jan. 24, 2020

WhatsApp is a standout amongst the most commonly utilized applications for smartphone and it is commonly used to communicate and also permits sharing and exchange of mass media files like pictures, videos and audio files.
Considering that the app uses default settings, files that take up a great deal of piece of your storage and every one of the media records you get are downloaded into your smartphone.
If you want to stop the app from eating up your storage space in your phone, all you have to do if you are using an Android Phone, just open WhatsApp on your phone and click on the three-dot option on the top right corner. Then go to settings and click on Chats. Here you will see media Visibility and just Uncheck it.
If you want to do the same for selected contacts or groups, then open the chat and click on the three-dot option on the top right corner, click on View Contact and click on Media Visibility. Here you will be prompted with “Show newly downloaded media from this chat in your phone’s gallery?” set it to Default by clicking No.
If you are an iPhone user the just open WhatsApp on your iPhone and click on the Settings option on the bottom, then tap on chats and then see or Save to Camera Roll and disable it.
