Feb. 11, 2020
Heavy rain in Australia has helped extinguish some of the bush fires that have been burning in New South Wales.
Sydney had 15.4-inches of rain over the last several days, the heaviest rainfall in the city since 1990.
The New South Wales Rural Fire Service tweeted that the rainfall helped put out more than 30 fires and calls it “the most positive news we’ve had in some time.”
