Brentford vs Leeds line-ups, team news and live stream of Championship fixture as both clubs battle for Premier League promotion

Feb. 11, 2020

Brentford host Leeds in a huge midweek Championship clash that could have big repercussions in the promotion race.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side are in a dire run of form, having lost four of their last five games and now find themselves four points behind leaders West Brom and only five points clear of seventh.
Meanwhile, Brentford are sitting comfortably in the play-off places, having won three of their last five games during their farewell season at Griffin Park.
The Bees’ BMW front three is the most potent attacking force in the Championship with Said B enrahma, Bryan M beumo and Ollie W atkins driving their promotion bid.
A win for the hosts will move them above Leeds. However, should the visitors win, the gap between first and second would shrink to just one point.
All the action is live on talkSPORT 2 and here’s how you can catch it.

Brentford vs Leeds: Head-to-head
Results in this fixture since Bielsa took over at Leeds have resulted in one win, one draw and one loss, with the most recent being a 1-0 home win at Elland Road in August.
Brentford’s win against Leeds in the Bielsa era came towards the end of last season in a time known to many as the ‘Bielsa burnout’ when goals from Neal Maupay and Sergi Canos in a 2-0 win made it tougher for Leeds to finish the season with automatic qualification.
Leeds ultimately had to settle for a third placed finish and suffered a play-off semi-final loss to Derby and the fans will be fearing their current run of form is painting a picture similar to their capitulation last term.
