Tree falls on man walking dog in Liverpool

It comes as Storm Dennis is set to bring more wet and windy weather
A dog walker has been seriously injured by a falling tree in a Liverpool woodland.
The man was struck by the tree in Black Wood, Woolton, on Tuesday morning, police said.
Emergency services, including police, fire and ambulance crews, were called to the scene.
The area has been sealed off and a police cordon remains in place.
A spokesman for Merseyside Police said: "We can confirm that officers are currently in Woolton following reports a male dog walker had been seriously injured by a falling tree.
"Emergency services were called at 11.05am and are currently at the scene in Black Wood, close to Wood View Road.”
It came as the Met Office said another named weather system - Storm Dennis - was set to bring more very wet and windy weather this the weekend, after widespread disruption caused by Storm Ciara over the weekend.
