Edmonton weather: Surprise! It’s -20 C and everything is frozen
Feb. 12, 2020
A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.
Wednesday morning temperatures at the Edmonton Blatchford station measured -20.0 C with 7 km/h winds out of the east, southeast and a -26 wind chill.
Why do I live here again? Seriously,
We went from -8 C at 6 p.m. last night -21 C by 2 a.m.
I couldn’t get into my car this morning. All doors were frozen solid, they could not be opened by conventional means. Wonder Woman and Superman could not have open my doors.
We need to invent portable blow torches or focused heat guns or something. Also, the roads are pure glass, it does NOT matter if you have your winter tires or all-weather tires you are on a rink out there today.
And trust me no one is driving to the conditions so give your self extra time IF you can actually get into your car.
