Forget the Galaxy S20 - Samsung just made the S10 way more attractive

Feb. 12, 2020

SAMSUNG may have just revealed its shiny new Galaxy S20 but it has also made the current Galaxy S10 seem way more attractive. Here's what's new and what has changed.
The new Galaxy S20 has been revealed with Samsung showcasing its latest and greatest devices at an Unpacked event in San Francisco. A total of three new flagships will now hit stores next month including the new Galaxy S20, S20+ and ultimate S20 Ultra.
All arrive with a faster 120Hz screen, more powerful processors, bigger batteries and improved cameras.
In fact, the S20 Ultra now packs a pretty amazing quad rear camera into its rear case which offers users a staggering 100X zoom.
One final big new feature is that the entire S20 range now comes 5G-ready meaning you can access superfast downloads when away from Wi-Fi.

These stunning Galaxy S10 deals will make you forget all about the new Galaxy S20
Speaking at the launch of the S20, Conor Pierce, Corporate Vice President, Samsung Electronics UK&I, said: “As we enter this new decade, the Galaxy S20 range will completely transform people’s lives; changing how we communicate and how we experience the world around us.
“All three S20 variants come with 5G capability, and with the Galaxy S20 Ultra’s 108MP camera, you can shoot video in incredible 8K quality and take the perfect shot first time with Single Take.”
That's all pretty exciting but there's also some very good news if you simply fancy taking delivery of the current Galaxy S10.
Samsung announced on stage that it is cutting the price of the entire range with the S10e, S10 and S10+ all now much cheaper than before.
If you head to the Samsung store you'll find the S10e now starts from under £500 whist the standard S20 will set you back just £669.
If you want the biggest of the bunch then you can squeeze the S20+ in your pocket for £769.
All of the prices above are big savings off the original cost of the phones and are well worth a look if you are not bothered about having the latest and greatest device.
If you're a bit bored of all these standard devcies then there is one final phone to consider with Samsung also announcing the release of the Galaxy Z Flip.
This bendy phone is a little like last year's Galaxy Fold except the clampshell design now flips upwards just like the new Motorola Razr.
Another difference between the Galaxy Z Flip and the Galaxy Fold is the material that enables the OLED display.
This time around, Samsung isn't using plastic to allow the touchscreen to bend in half. Instead, Samsung is covering the OLED panel with “ultra thin glass” that should make it much more durable than other folding phones on the market.
This device will arrive later this month and costs over £1,300.
