Lorry, minibus and two vans collide – causing traffic chaos near Fort William

A FOUR vehicle smash involving a lorry, a minibus and two vans today closed a major Scots road - sparking travel chaos.
Emergency services scrambled to the 1.15pm smash on the A82 Glasgow to Inverness road, near Fort William.

Medics treated those involved in the collision on scene, with police confirming they suffered minor injuries.

Commuters experienced long delays in tail backs as the stretch of road was closed in both directions for more than three hours, reopening again just after 4pm.
Confirming the road had been cleared, a Traffic Scotland spokesman said: "All lanes now running.
"Traffic in the area is still looking heavy."

A Police Scotland spokesman added: "We were called around 1.15pm to a report of a four vehicle crash involving a lorry, a mini bus and two vans.
"There were minor injuries."
