One-year-old baby girl is seriously injured in dog attack at Derbyshire house

A dog has mauled a baby girl, leaving her seriously injured at a house in Derbyshire.
The one-year-old is in a serious condition at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham after yesterday's attack.
An air ambulance, paramedics and police raced to the scene at about 5.40pm and rushed the infant to hospital.
Officers confirmed that the dog has been seized. A Derbyshire police spokesperson told The Sun : 'Officers were called to a house in Long Eaton yesterday after a young child was bitten by a dog.
'Police and ambulance crews were called to a house in Beech Avenue at about 5.40pm.
'A one-year-old girl was treated at the scene and then taken to hospital for further treatment. She remains in a serious condition.'
