Chelsea reportedly plotting shock move for Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson as Kepa Arrizabalaga replacement

Chelsea are reportedly considering a shock bid for Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
Blues No.1 Kepa Arrizabalaga has been underperforming this season, leading to rumours Frank Lampard has ran out of patience with him.
The Spaniard cost £71.6million when he signed from Athletic Bilbao in August 2018 and made a decent start at Stamford Bridge.
However, a loss of form this season as well as an incident during the Carabao Cup final last term, in which he defied then-Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri’s orders to be substituted, has seen him slip down the pecking order.
And according to ESPN , Englishman Henderson – currently on loan at Sheffield United – is being tracked by Chelsea.

It is understood that Henderson is also on French giants Paris Saint-Germain’s radar.
Henderson, 22, has kept nine clean sheets for the Blades this season – the same as Liverpool stopper Alisson – and has a 75 per cent save ratio.
Sheffield United have the second best defensive record in the Premier League, behind only Jurgen Klopp’s side.
However, he’s due to return to Old Trafford in the summer but is unlikely to settle for a place on the bench as David de Gea’s understudy.
He is pushing for a place in Gareth Southgate’s squad at Euro 2020 in the summer.

Meanwhile, Kepa is in a similar situation as he battles the likes of De Gea for a place in Spain’s squad for the finals.
Chelsea’s next match incidentally sees them host Man United in the Premier League on Monday night.
