Chelsea have reached an agreement with Ajax to sign Hakim Ziyech on July 1. The Blues are paying £33million to bring the winger to Stamford Bridge, though the fee could rise to £37m due to add-ons. Ziyech has scored 48 goals and registered 82 assists in 159 games for the Dutch champions. He has officially become Frank Lampard’s first signing as Chelsea boss. (FULL STORY)
Arsenal are in talks with Bukayo Saka over a new contract amid interest from Liverpool and Manchester United. The 18-year-old winger has been a consistent performer since Mikel Arteta took charge in December, filling in for injured duo Kieran Tierney and Sead Kolasinac at left-back. Saka, who has come through the ranks at Arsenal, has less than 18 months remaining on his current £3,000-a-week deal. (FULL STORY)
Liverpool have joined the race to sign £100m-rated Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho. The England winger is set to quit the Bundesliga giants this summer with Man City, Chelsea and Manchester United all interested in acquiring his signature. Sancho has been in sensational form for Dortmund this season, scoring 15 goals and contributing 17 assists. He is likely to play a big part for England at Euro 2020. (FULL STORY)
Chelsea and Manchester United are battling it out to sign Birmingham wonderkid Jude Bellingham, who is valued at £50m. The 16-year-old has enjoyed a superb breakthrough season with the Championship club, scoring four goals and registering two assists in 31 appearances. The midfielder is also being watched by Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona. Chelsea and United are prepared to pay an initial £35m fee with a further £15m in add-ons. (Sun)
Liverpool are plotting a £46m bid for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner. The Germany international has netted 20 goals in 21 Bundesliga games this season. His potential arrival at Anfield would only add to the club’s quality attacking options of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino. Earlier this month, Werner admitted he would like to play abroad amid interest from Jurgen Klopp’s side. (Bild)
European football expert Kevin Hatchard says Arsenal and Tottenham ‘have not got much chance’ of signing Dayot Upamecano, with a move to Barcelona or Bayern Munich more likely. The RB Leipzig star, 21, is one of the most highly-rated young defenders in Europe. Arsenal and Spurs have looked shaky at the back at times this season, conceding 34 and 32 goals, respectively. Eddie Hearn insists a Saudi consortium will spend big money if their takeover of Newcastle goes through. Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is believed to be in advanced talks with Magpies owner Mike Ashley over a £340m purchase of the Premier League club. Ashley, who bought the club in 2007, has been criticised by fans for the lack of money spent on transfers in the past. (FULL STORY)
Moise Kean is a shock transfer target for Real Madrid. The 19-year-old has struggled for form since joining Everton in a £24.5m deal from Juventus last summer. He has scored only once in 23 appearances for the Toffees. Real Madrid are on the lookout for a successor to Karim Benzema, who turns 33 this year. (TEAMtalk)
Maurizio Sarri admits Aaron Ramsey has struggled in his debut season at Juventus. The midfielder, who joined the Serie A champions on a free transfer after leaving Arsenal last summer, has been dogged by injury. Ramsey is yet to complete 90 minutes for Juve and has scored just once. He has been linked with a Premier League return this summer. (Metro)
