Tottenham are eyeing a move for £50million-rated Norwich defender Ben Godfrey. The 22-year-old has been a shining light in the Canaries’ poor Premier League season and is able to play in midfield. Godfrey has made 19 appearances for Norwich this season. Tottenham are also interested in signing Godfrey’s teammate, full-back Max Aarons, who is valued at £30million. (Express)
Newcastle boss Steve Bruce wants the club to give Andy Carroll a new contract, despite the striker managing just four league starts since his return on a free transfer last summer. The 31-year-old, whose one-year deal runs out at the end of the season, is currently sidelined with a hip problem and has recently suffered a setback. Bruce is believed to have been impressed by Carroll’s contribution on and off the pitch. (Northern Echo)
talkSPORT host Jason Cundy believes Jadon Sancho could help Liverpool dominate the Premier League for years.
