Chelsea are reportedly going ‘all out’ to secure a deal for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
Sancho, who is having a blistering campaign with 13 goals and 13 assists in 20 Bundesliga matches, has been linked with a return to the Premier League, with Liverpool , Manchester City and Manchester United also interested in the teenager.
However, according to France Football, Chelsea have moved ahead of their rivals by opening talks with the winger’s representatives.
The Blues have already sealed a deal for Ajax wide-man Hakim Ziyech but manager Frank Lampard is keen to add another winger to his ranks, with both Willian and Pedro expected to leave the club in the summer.
Any potential move for Sancho will likely cost Chelsea a club-record fee, with the England forward said to be valued at more than £100million by the German club.
Chelsea are ahead of their rivals as they sit in fourth in the Premier League, currently qualifying for the Champions League.
Manchester City have been banned from European competitions for two seasons while Manchester United are down in ninth, six points adrift of the Blues in fourth place.
Meanwhile, PSG star Neymar has heaped praise on Sancho, admitting the winger is a ‘special’ player ahead of his side’s Champions League last-16 visit to the Westfalenstadion.
“Without any doubts it will be a great game for those who love football,” he said.
“We are two teams who like to attack, two teams who qualify thanks to the players.
“Borussia have players that can make the difference. Jadon is a player that I really like to watch play and he is a great player with plenty of quality.
“Borussia Dortmund is a team with plenty of quality players. They have a special player, who is new but who is very good whose name is Sancho.
“He is a good player. We all know how difficult it will be for us here at Dortmund. We are hoping to play a good game to get a good result back to Paris.”
