Video: The publisher of CrossRiverWatch; Agba Jalingo Has Finally Been Released

The publisher of the news website; CrossRiverWatch, Agba Jalingo who was allegedly arrested on August 22, 2019 has been released.
He was charged for treason by the federal authorities in southern Nigerian, Cross River State on the 30th of August 2019; for disturbing the public peace with his writings.
According to the report , his writings and social media posts advocated for Governor Benedict Ayade to step down in Office.
If found guilty he was said to spend his lifetime in prison.
The CPJ’s Africa program coordinator, in New York, Angela Quintal advocated for his release and so many others but to no avail.
As of then report said if he was found guilty, Jalingo would face three years in prison for the disturbance charge and a lifetime imprisonment for treason which was according to the Nigerian criminal code.
Hopefully Agba Jalingo has finally been released, he was seen walking out of the federal high court free from all charges
As he walks out in company of friends he was singing "Aluta Continua”.
