A study conducted by Acorns and CNBC shows that men spend more on impulse purchase than women. The survey which was carried out in partnership with survey monkey involved interviewing men and women. It was discovered that 90% of the female participants had practised impulse purchase as compared to the 89% male participants.

According to the research the men spend more on impulse purchase than women thus covering for the small percentage difference. In the end, the men become the lead spenders in impulse purchase.
According to the research, when men give into their urge to satisfy their impulse purchase they spend much more. This could also be attributed to the fact that most male items are expensive compared to female products.
This means that men are the biggest spenders when it comes to impulse purchase.
Women are highly stereotyped as the biggest spenders when it comes to impulse purchase. This belief has thus been debunked by the research. The next time you on shopping watch out, you might be spending more than your woman on impulse purchase.
