Namaste Wahala is the next big thing coming to your TV screens in March. It is a fusion of Nollywood and Bollywood and we certainly cannot wait to see it on our screens.
Namaste Wahala is a romantic comedy directed by a Lagos based Indian woman, Hamisha Daryani Ahuja. It would feature our very own Ini Dima- Okoji and Bollywood actor, Ruslaan Mumtaz as the main characters. The movie also features some of the biggest names in the Nigerian movie industry such as Ajoke Silva and Richard Mofe Damijo alongside popular rapper, Mi Abaga and comedian, Broda Shaggi.
The director, Hamisha Daryani Ahuja promises us that the movie would explore all the cultural experiences between both nations, India and Nigeria. In a post on Instagram, she said, ‘With nothing but passion for film, I embarked on a journey to make a feature film that is a melting pot of my cultural experiences between India and Nigeria. The moment I made this decision, I knew that It would require that I give it focused energy in faith, and watch it all manifest.’
The movie is set to be out in cinemas on the 24th of April and Ini DIma Okojie took to her Instagram page to inform us of the good news. She posted the movie poster with the caption,
