I Accept; Cristiano Ronaldo Is A Monster Infront Of Goal – Lionel Messi

Charles Mensah

Feb. 20, 2020

Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi has admitted that Cristiano Ronaldo is a monster in front of the goal post and that he misses him ever since he left La Liga for the Serie A.
Messi's comment comes on the back of Cristiano Ronaldo’s 11 goals scoring streak since the beginning of January 2020. Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 24 goals in Serie A this season in all competitions. He recently turned 35 years in January and does not show any sign of slowing his game. His scoring ratio speaks for himself and it shows that age is just a number which doesn’t have any negative effect on him.
Messi himself has scored 14 goals in 19 La Liga games so far this season though he has gone goalless in 4 consecutive matches in La Liga. He will be looking forward to ending his scoreless streak this weekend before next week's champions league game.
When asked what he thinks of Ronaldo’s exploits this season he said: “Cristiano is a monster, a goal machine and he has always turned his game on scoring goals without thinking of whether his team possesses the ball or not.” Messi went on to say that CR7's exit in La Liga is a huge blow to the league and himself as well.
Barcelona is 1 point below La Liga leaders Real Madrid while Juventus are joint to in Serie A with Inter Milan.
Do you believe Messi is right to claim that Cristiano Ronaldo is a goal machine?
