Millions of Samsung phone owners get weird '1' notification during the night

Users have been left confused by the strange notification which disappeared when they selected it
Millions of Samsung phone users have been left confused after receiving a notification with just the number '1'.
Owners of the company's Galaxy model received the strange '1' notification from the Find My Mobile app on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
The message consisted of the number one, with another number '1' directly below it. It is thought to have been received by millions of people around the world, with many Samsung Galaxy users in Wales voicing their confusion.
For users that tapped on the notification, it suddenly disappeared without anything happening.
The Find My Mobile app helps users locate their phones or tablets, and protect their data.
It doesn't seem as though there's anything to worry about, as it appears that the push notification was sent out accidentally.
It's not the first time people have received odd messages on their phones from their providers.
Last year, OnePlus 7 Pro users were left scratching their heads when they received two notifications that were made up of random letters.

It was later confirmed that the notifications were sent out accidentally as part of an internal test.
Samsung has been asked to comment on why users received the '1' notification.
