Tammy Abraham Makes History After Scooping Two Awards In London Football Awards

Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham was named the capital city's Premier League Player of the Year as well as the Young Player of the Year at the London Awards held on Thursday.
In an event held at The Roundhouse in Camden, in association with the Willow Foundation, Abraham managed to scoop the two awards for his performance in the last one year. The 22-year-old became the first player to collect both awards in one year, having helped Aston Villa secure promotion to the top flight and has so far netted 15 goals this since returning to Chelsea.
The England international was presented the awards by his head coach Frank Lampard while ex-defender Ashley Cole was in attendance to present the prize for the best player under-21 in London.
He beat teammate Jorginho to the Player of the Year award while pipping both Fikayo Tomori and Mason Mount to the young player category award.
