Transfer Rumors: Arsenal Move In For Feyernood Teenager

Arsenal have held talks to sign Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu, according to reports. The 19-year-old has impressed at the heart of Feyenoord’s midfield, scoring three goals and registering six assists in 33 appearances this season.
The Dutch club’s technical director Frank Arnesen is keen to tie Kokcu down to a new contract, with his existing deal due to expire in 2023. Arsenal have now made a move to sign the midfielder before he commits to a new contract with Feyenoord.
The report claims that Edu has targeted Kokcu as a ‘priority signing’, while Arsenal have now begun initial talks to land the midfielder. Arsenal are also said to be concerned that Kokcu’s asking price could rise this summer as he is set to star for Turkey at Euro 2020.
The Gunners are eight points behind Chelsea in the race for fourth place and could miss out on a Champions League place once again.
