Disrespect Level 1000: Bruno Fernandes 'Shushed' Pep As United Thrashed City
March. 09, 2020
Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes ‘shushed’ Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola in the dying minutes of the Manchester Derby at Old Trafford.
Anthony Martial’s first half goal gave United a slender advantage but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were hanging on as the game entered the final moments. United were dead on their feet after an all-action display and it was clear that there was some time management being executed by the home side as they looked to see out the result.
That didn’t go down well with Guardiola and the Spaniard was visibly frustrated as Luke Shaw took his time over a throw-in before the game entered stoppage time. Solskjaer was nearest to Guardiola but it was Fernandes that took umbrage with the former Barcelona boss and the midfielder put his fingers to his lips to ‘shush’ the Spaniard.
