Jordi Alba Is Angry At Barca Fans Over Their Behaviour

Barcelona defender Jordi Alba has hit out on the clubs supporters after they were treated to a hostile atmosphere on Saturday.
The LaLiga champions fell to a disappointing 2-0 defeat to their arch-rivals Real Madrid last week in what could prove decisive in this season's title race and the fans didn’t hide their feelings when they jeered their team in their Saturday tie against Real Sociedad.
Alba appeared to gesture towards the fans by cupping his hands to his ears after netting in stoppage time but his celebration was disrupted after the linesman had flagged for offside.
Speaking after the game, the Spaniard said: “No one likes to play poorly or how we're playing at the moment, but I don't like it when in the 15th minute with the score goalless there are whistles.
“No one likes it when the fans go against you, especially in your own stadium. Our attitude is good and all the players are giving everything out on the pitch. I'm not going to hide. Just as I respect everyone, they also have to respect me.”
Alba's comments come amid growing unrest at the LaLiga champions with fans waving white handkerchiefs in protest against president Josep Maria Bartomeu.
