Leicester boosted their hopes of clinching a Champions League ticket with a 4-0 win over Aston Villa on Monday night at the King Power Stadium.
In a slippery night due to the light rains, Leicester took a first-half lead through Harvey Barnes, before Jamie Vardy stepped off the bench to grab a brace and end his goal drought. Barnes then added a fourth late on as Brendan Rodgers' men romped to an easy win.
Aston Villa started the match on the front foot right from the whistle, pressing the hosts with quick attacks led by Jack Grealish and Mbwana Samatta, with the latter coming close on the eighth minute.
The hosts were not to be kept out for long though as Barnes gave them the lead.  Leicester came back for the second half with real intent and went close to adding to their tally twice with Iheanacho and Evans missing two open chances.
Jamie Vardy then replaced the Nigerian, and he immediately added a second from the spot following a handball inside the box and end his scoring drought.
