Jul 2, 2020
CEDRIC SOARES bagged a brilliant debut goal for Arsenal after just 229 SECONDS on the pitch.
The Portuguese right-back replaced Hector Bellerin with just 13 minutes left of the 4-0 win at the Emirates Stadium.
And the ex-Southampton defender, who joined on loan in January before sealing a permanent free transfer move this week, made an instant impact with a stunning strike.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened the scoring on 33 minutes before Granit Xhaka added a second moments later.
Aubameyang hit the back of the net again shortly after the hour mark before a perfect evening for the Gunners was completed late in with Cedric scoring the pick of the bunch.

He picked up the ball on the edge of the area, took a touch and fired into the bottom corner to beat Tim Krul.
The 28-year-old hasn't featured due to leg and facial injuries before this evening, but now he is back to full fitness, he has announced his arrival onto the scene in emphatic fashion.
And Gooners were just as delighted as the man himself afterwards as they shared their joy at the thumping strike on social media.
